THE BEAST PENTAX 6×7

The start of shooting with 120mm film.
Everyone knows the – look what a beautiful old camera I found from in my Daddys stuff – feeling. Same here! Shooting film, mostly 35mm with old cameras of my Daddy was already happening.
At this point I decided to use 120mm film, because I wanted to challenge myself, to work with something I haven’t used before. I think it is a real important chapter for practicing photography skills, knowing how to shoot analogous film with a middle format camera.

Thats why I started searching for a old classical beast on ebay. I was considering for weeks, if I should buy a Hasselblad 500c or a Pentax6x7. I ended up with a Pentax, because I prefer the special 6×7 formart more than the quares of a Hasselblad. And of course, I love the prism and the style of the Pentax even more. I mean, if you are buying such an old camera, it needs to look pretty as well, right?
